Racing for the 2009 Jeepspeed Season.
Tyler Racing is a start-up race team owned by Tyler Gutierrez. Tyer is High School senior who knew he wanted to race Jeeps the first time he saw the movie "From Dust to Glory". He has ridden dirt bikes since he was seven years old. But for him, nothing could compare to desert off-road racing.
Tyler is a hard worker. He saved up to purchase his first Jeep and the modifications required forJeepspeed Racing. The Jeep is progressing nicely. Completed modifications include: racing tires, fabricated reinforced bumper, reinforced front axle housing, slip yoke eliminator on transmission, removal of the interior in preparation of the roll cage and installation of AMSOIL Lubricants.
Tyler spends a lot of time at Ecology Auto Parts. At Ecology you have to find a vehicle with the part you need and remove it yourself. Tyler now has a small junkyard of ready parts waiting to be installed or used as spares. He really enjoys learning the techniques of fabricating and of testing his Jeep on the race course.
During the week, Tyler also works part-time and goes to High School. He especially enjoys Auto Shop where he can work on his Jeep. On weekends and evenings he works on his Jeep in his garage. The garage is well equipped with a complete set of mechanics tools along with the full support of his entire family. He is an intern at a local off-road shop so that he can learn as much as possible.
His long term goal is to race and own a race shop. This way he will be able to give other kids the same opportunity.
He is seeking sponsorship oppertunities for his Jeep. He is offering space on the vehicle for your company to advertise or other forms of promotion.
